La Belle Vie is a favorite restaurant in Minneapolis due to having one of the best chefs in the Midwest. It’s located at 510 Groveland Avenue in the Twin Cities and is one of the most praised restaurants in the area. It’s won an Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator Magazine and Zagat and has designed an atmosphere to offer elegance and sophistication. What to Expect

The restaurant is located at 510 Groveland building in Minneapolis and works under the belief that “Good food is always personal.” The cuisine reflects this philosophy from the dishes to the wine pairings and the service to the ambiance. They put great attention to detail on everything and it’s obvious through the menu as Chef Tim McKee has been awarded Best Chef Midwest by the James Beard Award 2009.

Make a reservation to guarantee your table. The lounge is more casual and open from 5pm to 9pm on Sundays, 5pm to 10pm on weekdays and 5pm-11pm on Saturdays. The dining room is open Sunday through Thursday from 5pm to 9pm and Friday and Saturdays from 5pm to 10pm.

You can enjoy valet parking for a small fee and for those looking for a place to enjoy private dining, they can accommodate groups from 34 to 200 guests. It’s perfect for a private cocktail hour, a seated dinner party or your wedding reception. Your guests will love their award-winning menu, perfect wine pairings and elegant atmosphere.

The Menu

Expect menu items featuring seafood and steak. Dinner will feature items like the rhubarb frangipane with honey-thyme cremeux, soft-shell crab with watercress and spring pea tortelli with abalone mushroom. Try the grilled dry aged beef with chickpea from the tasting menu or order items a la carte like the rabbit loin with sesame, cilantro and preserved lemon. Try a wine flight with your meal and end the meal with a mandarin panna cotta with caramelia chocolate sorbet and hibiscus.
