Twin Cities Oktoberfest Set to Kickoff on October 7th

An entire weekend full of German beer, brats and fun is headed to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. The annual Twin Cities Oktoberfest kicks off the first Friday and Saturday of October, with two entire days of live, German-themed entertainment in the works.

This year’s visitors are sure to enjoy sampling traditional German food, Summit beers, plus taking part in games and browsing through the unique items and food on display by area vendors. You’ll also find some other beverage options for non-beer drinkers. The weekend additionally includes traditional German dancers and entertainers, sure to make the upcoming weekend a real treat.

This fun celebration kicks off Friday, October 6 at 5pm with several hours worth of activities, and then picks back up again on Saturday, October 7 at noon with more fun lasting well into the late evening hours.

Admission is $25 per day for those ages 21 and older and just $5 per day for visitors ages 13-20. Admission is free for kids under age 13 when they attend with a paying adult. Tickets are currently available online.
