Opened in 1985as Davlins – Fine Crafted Gifts of Wood, the store was opened in an old mattress factory on the waterfront of Minneapolis. The store expanded to three locations in the Twin Cities by 1987 and 1997 the Maple Grove store opened called “The Woods.” Merchandise was expanded from just wood gifts to candles, pottery, home décor and more. The store participates in charities like planting trees for Arbor Day with the Three Rivers Park District and accepting donations for Toys for Tots.
